The Ringl family settled not far from the Danube, in picturesque Maria Laach. Karlheinz Ringl took over his parents’ business in 1989 and has run the hotel and restaurant with his family ever since. Because of its quiet location on the Jauerling, the hotel is very popular with families as well as seminar guests.
The six new gourmet rooms have dignified, friendly furnishings and are housed in a separate villa. As the region is known for its fruit crops, the rooms are named after fruit trees.
Numerous hiking trails lead directly from the front door to the Jauerling Nature Park and along the world-heritage trail. The indoor swimming pool, outdoor swimming pool and sauna provide relaxation and recreation afterwards.
The cuisine is traditional and down-to-earth and the hotel has its own organic garden for salads, vegetables and herbs.
