Film club Drosendorf

The Drosendorf Film Club was founded in 1990 and saved the Drosendorf cinema from closing down for good. The cinema in the Gasthofsaal Failler had long since passed its prime and was living a miserable life. Thus it is that a cinema has existed in the small Waldviertel town without interruption since 1920. The death of the cinema left no trace in Drosendorf.

With a lot of commitment of the members of the film club, the country cinema developed into a program cinema without losing the charm of the old cinema hall.
