A caricature garden in Brunn am Wald
A garden that combines art and nature in a unique way.
This garden is full of caricatured objects of art made of stone, wood, ceramic and iron as well as textile hemp figures and constantly changing caricatures by the renowned artist Bruno Haberzettl.
The garden was created in the mid 16c as a pleasure garden and laid out in three large terraces connected by an ostentatious stairway.
Today it is a caricature garden, show garden, recreational garden, a dwelling place for special forces. Besides sunflowers, rambler roses, 250 year old yew trees and vintage fruit varieties; this garden features caricatured objects made of stone, wood, ceramic, iron and hemp. It is the only one of its kind in the German-speaking countries.
