Grafenegg Castle

An English fairytale castle

Grafenegg is a unique combination: an historical castle with a futurist open-air stage in a landscape park plus a 19th c riding school and a modern concert hall.

Today the castle is a blend of styles, featuring 19th c English Neo-Gothic and portions of the structure dating to the 17th c. The interior has a number of features well-worth seeing, especially the net-vaulted staircase, the library, the salons and the Hall of Knights.
The romantic castle is surrounded by a 32 hectare English style park.
